Spicy Mexican Clamato Michelada Recipe

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces clamato juice or tomato juice
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce purchase Annie's vegan version
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Horseradish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce to your own taste
  • 12 ounces light Mexican beer Corona beer is perfect
  • 2 celery stalks optional garnish
  • 2 lime wedges optional garnish

Instructions

  • Fill two glasses with ice.
  • Add the clamato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Prepared Horseradish Sauce, and hot sauce to a shaker. Add ice cubes and shake it all up.
    Strain into the glasses and divide the beer between the glasses.
  • Add additional hot sauce if you like them extra spicy!
  • Garnish with celery stalk and/or lime wedge.

Notes

If you use tomato juice instead of clamato juice, you may need to add some kosher salt, sea salt, or celery salt for additional seasoning.
