Equipment

  • hand-held mixer

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces low-fat cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Monk fruit sweetener or granulated sugar - see Ingredient Notes
  • ½ tablespoon Greek yogurt, plain
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Using a hand mixer, whip the ingredients together until you have a creamy dip.
  • It's not necessary, but if you like this dip chilled, cover and slide into the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ingredient Notes

  • Cream cheese - I use low-fat cream cheese when making this dip, but you can use full-fat if you prefer that. The most important thing is to make sure it's plain cream cheese. I haven't tried this recipe using whipped cream cheese.
  • Monk fruit sweetener - If you use sugar, start with 75% of the amount called for, and add additional sugar to taste.
  • Greek yogurt - It's important to use this thicker yogurt. Regular yogurt and low-fat yogurts are too thin IMO. I use plain, but vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt is fine.
