Homemade Chipotle Spice Mix
Homemade spice rub that balances sweet, salty, savory and spicy that's the perfect all-round spice mix to use on vegetables and meat. Recipe makes about ½ cup of spice mix. One serving equals 1 teaspoon.

- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chipotle spice powder
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
- 1 ½ teaspoons sweet paprika Hungarian sweet paprika is a great choice
Combine all spices in the bowl of a mortar and pestle and lightly mash them together.
Pour into a sealed container, such as a jar.
