    • Skinny Yogurt Cheesecake Dip

Simple desserts you can make ahead and keep in the refrigerator are great to have on hand. My no-egg chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookie bars, and panna cotta all fit the bill. But nothing is easier than a cheesecake dip.

❤️ Why you'll love this recipe

    • Simple ingredients. You only need 5 ingredients to make this dip, and you might already have them all in your pantry.
    • Fast and easy. Make it in 5 minutes.
    • Make-ahead friendly. Scoop into an airtight container and save in the refrigerator for several days.
    • Party perfect. This is ideal for a dinner party. Some guests might only want fruit, and others get to have this extra treat.

    🧅 Main Ingredients + Notes

The secret to many dishes often lies in the ingredients. For example, some ingredients make a huge difference to the flavor and/or texture of the finished recipe. And purchasing the right ingredients can save you valuable time in the kitchen.

This list only covers ingredients that require some notes. For all of the ingredients, measurements, and directions, go to the Recipe Card at the bottom of this post.

    • Cream cheese - I use low-fat cream cheese when making this dip, but you can use full-fat if you prefer that. The most important thing is to make sure it's plain cream cheese. I haven't tried this recipe using whipped cream cheese.
    • Monk fruit sweetener - If you use sugar, start with 75% of the amount called for, and add additional sugar to taste.
    • Greek yogurt - It's important to use this thicker yogurt. Regular yogurt and low-fat yogurts are too thin IMO. I use plain, but vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt is fine.

🧊 Can I make this dish ahead?

Yes. Store this dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

    💡Ideas for Possible Variations

    • I've not used flavored cream cheeses in this recipe, but if you want, experiment with fruit-flavored cream cheese products such as strawberry, blueberry, and mixed fruit.
    • I've also seen honey pecan cream cheese that would work well in this recipe.
    • Use honey as the sweetener in place of Monk fruit or granulated cane sugar.

    🍽️ Serving Suggestions

    Shortbread cookies

    Graham crackers

    Oreo cookies
