We're in countdown mode for Super Bowl Sunday. My team's not going to be on the field, butย I like both teams (entirely because I like Seattle and I used to live in Boston). Clearly, I don't care who wins - it's all about the food for me. We're going to a party in Tahoe this year, hosted by some close friends. My assignment is to bring an appetizer, so I've been on the hunt for something easy but really good. And this salsa is the winner.

It took about 15 minutes to make, and it's perfect!!!

Another great salsa to make in spring and summer is this Strawberry Salsa. It needs about 30 minutes to chill, but only 10 - 15 minutes to assemble.

Salsa!!! YUM! Can never have too many salsa recipes - it drives me bonkers when restaurant style recipes don't include cilantro. You gotta have cilantro - I see this one does ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy reveal day!

I love anyone who says "it's all about the food" when it comes to anything, since that is always my motto too ๐Ÿ™‚

I've been trying to eat a bit healthier at the moment too after all the Christmas indulgence, and feeling loads better after a month of clean eating. This looks great for a fairly healthy snack, particularly if served with some fresh veggies for dunking instead of the corn chips.

I LOVE the salsa at Mexican restaurants, but never got around to coming up with a recipe and making it. Now I no longer have the excuse. Thanks for sharing!
